The FPPC submitted a full report including a one-page summary to the California Legislature in December of 2024 regarding Enforcement of Local Government Campaign and Ethics Ordinance.

Focusing on Transparency
In 2009 and 2010, the FPPC created special reports focusing on three important issues in California politics.
- Billion Dollar Money Train finds that despite the imposition of contribution limits in 2000, state and legislative candidates directly raised more than $1 billion by the end of 2008. (April 2009)
- Big Money Talks examines California’s top 15 spending special interest groups from 2000 through 2009. (March 2010)
- Breaking the Bank describes how gubernatorial primary elections have become more costly over time and calculates the actual spending per vote since 1978. (September 2010)
